This is the beginning of a new era for the Denver Broncos.
Sean Payton and the front office cleaned house at the beginning of the offseason, starting off by getting rid of Russell Wilson and absorbing the largest cap hit in NFL history.
With Jerry Jeudy and Justin Simmons also out of the picture, some thought it could be Courtland Sutton’s time to head out the door as well.
And with the latest rumors about him holding out to get a new contract, it didn’t take long before other teams reached out to the Broncos.
Nonetheless, a report by Jeremy Fowler of ESPN (via Myles Simmons) states that the Broncos have no interest whatsoever in moving on from him right now.

The 28-year-old wide receiver has two years left on his current deal, and he decided to skip the team’s voluntary offseason program to put some pressure on the front office to sign him to an extension.
Broncos General Manager George Paton, however, stated that their relationship is currently in a good place, shutting down all speculation and rumors about potentially parting ways with the former second-round pick.
Sutton is coming off a solid season, hauling in 59 receptions for 772 yards and ten touchdowns.
He’s logged 298 catches for 4,259 yards and 24 touchdowns since he entered the league six seasons ago, and that’s despite the Broncos’ complicated quarterback situation.
Now, they’ll have to reach an agreement on a new contract, and more importantly, find someone who can find him in the open field.
