Bronny James has already fulfilled his lifelong dream of becoming an NBA player.

And while there’s no reason to believe he’s going to be an All-Star at any point in his career, he’s still LeBron James’ son.

That’s why a young Los Angeles Lakers fan reached out to him during his Summer League debut, and Bronny was kind enough to give him an autograph (via Hoop Central).

There has been plenty of talk about Bronny, which isn’t usually the case for a No. 55 pick.

Then again, he’s no typical No. 55 selection, as he got a four-year, $7 million guaranteed contract, which isn’t standard procedure for second-rounders, let alone those taken just a handful of picks before the end of the NBA Draft.

Bronny’s situation and the way his camp dealt with it has prompted plenty of criticism on social media, and he’s going to be in the eye of the storm right away.

His debut in the Summer League was far from ideal.

He went 2-for-9 from the floor and some of the shots he took were fairly questionable.

More often than not, he settled for long twos and forced three-pointers, and he was also crossed up on defense, as shown in a now-viral clip.

Still, it’s never wise to count out a rookie after a bad game, let alone after his Summer League debut.

Whatever the case, it seems like Bronny will have a lot of work to do on his game and that he might not be on the floor at the NBA level very often in his first year in the league.
