Bronny James saw his NBA dream realized when the Los Angeles Lakers took him with the 55th pick in the 2024 NBA Draft.
Bronny was taken despite a tough freshman year at USC where he was working himself back into game shape after going into cardiac arrest last summer.
The young guard is an athletic player who’s shown real defensive prowess, though the offense is a clear work in progress as he struggles to knock down jumpers.
However, the Lakers understood what they were getting in Bronny who will get a chance to play alongside his dad LeBron James once the 2024-25 NBA season begins.
LeBron and Bronny can make history once they share the floor together and it’ll be an electric moment when it happens.
During the Las Vegas Summer League, Bronny was asked to name his top-five players of all time and his list wasn’t very surprising via Bernie Knows Ball.
“LeBron 1, Steph 2, Kyrie 3, KD 4, I have Ant and Shai tied at the five,” Bronny said.

LeBron at No. 1 should come as no surprise as he’s considered one of the few players in NBA history with a claim to be called the GOAT.
Stephen Curry at No. 2 makes sense, though his No. 3 and No. 4 were somewhat controversial as Kevin Durant is typically named in the same breath as LeBron and Curry.
Bronny’s age also shows with his final picks as Anthony Edwards and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander haven’t been in the league very long.
However, he is entitled to his opinion and all the players he mentioned are stars in the NBA.
