As his father, LeBron James, was sitting courtside at Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse for Game 4 between the Boston Celtics and Cleveland Cavaliers on Monday night, Bronny James was putting the work in to prove his work in the Draft Combine.
Although there have been a lot of critical things said about Bronny James throughout his short basketball career thus far, he had an impressive performance in one important drill, in particular during the combine, which has seemingly turned a lot of heads around the league.
According to Jonathan Givony of Draft Express, the former University of Southern California star went 19-for-25 from beyond the arc in the three-point star shooting drill.

With three-point shooting being incredibly important for young players in the league today, Bronny James showed that he might be a threat from deep when and if he makes it to the NBA level and helps a team.
As of right now, the consensus seems to be that no matter which team takes him in the upcoming 2024 NBA Draft, the USC product will likely be spending a lot of time in the NBA G League to improve his skills on the basketball floor.
Although Bronny James is said to excel defensively and can clearly shoot the basketball, he is undersized at 6’1″ and clearly needs more time playing the game before he can make an impact on an NBA squad, as he didn’t even start on his college team this past season.
It’ll be interesting to see how everything unfolds for Bronny James and where he might end up once the dust settles on the draft.
