Ever since he was a young kid, Bronny James was expected to make it to the NBA; that’s what happens when you’re LeBron James’ firstborn.
Bronny grew up playing basketball — obviously — and soccer, but his parents didn’t allow him to play football because of safety concerns.
That’s why he never got the chance to prove himself on the gridiron like his father did, but he still believes he could’ve found success in that sport.
Recently, the USC guard told USC Hoops that he’s got a good arm and that he would’ve played quarterback if he had chosen football over basketball (via Ball Don’t Lie).
Bronny might have given Caleb Williams a run for his money if it wasn’t for basketball

Bronny’s high school basketball clips have been viral since he was a young child, and he burst onto the national scene as soon as he transferred to Sierra Canyon.
Scouts have had mixed reviews about his game, but he was one of the biggest risers in mock drafts in his senior season in high school.
He was projected to go as high as No. 10 in some mocks, but his stock might’ve suffered a big hit after he suffered cardiac arrest before practice.
Bronny and LeBron reached out to specialists, and the latest reports state that his health isn’t at risk if he continues to play, but he’ll have all eyes on him now more than ever.
Whatever the case, one thing’s for sure: Caleb Williams can rest assured that he won’t lose his QB1 job for the time being, at least not because of Bronny James.
