Bronny James has been one of the most highly discussed players of the 2024 NBA Draft.
James’ collegiate tape left something to be desired, but after seeing what he did in the combine and other workouts, it appears that the tides are shifting in his favor.
There is a growing sense that James could get drafted to an NBA team, but many reports have indicated that he will join his father on the Los Angeles Lakers.
After all, it would fulfill a lifelong dream of his father to play with his son.
While the Lakers might have an interest in acquiring James, it appears that another team would also like to throw their hat in the ring.
As Draft Express recently reported via Evan Sidery on Twitter, the Phoenix Suns are having a second workout with James this week.

Sidery mentioned that, if the Suns are interested in James, they might consider trading back in the draft to get him, gaining additional capital as part of the deal.
It is unclear how high James will go in this draft if he’s even drafted at all.
Fans and analysts are curious to see how much the name on the back of his jersey matters heading into this process, and if a team other than the Lakers will take a swing at him.
With the amount of busts that happen in the NBA every year, the Suns could take a shot on a relatively unknown commodity, hoping he pans out to become a part of their roster moving forward.
