The Cleveland Browns will have a new voice.

With Jim Donovan stepping away from the Browns Radio Network to focus on his bout with cancer, someone else will take the reins.

As reported by 92.3 The Fan on X, the Browns have named Andrew Siciliano as their new play-by-play announcer.

Donovan was the Browns’ play-by-play announcer for 25 years, but he clearly has bigger battles to fight at the moment.

Siciliano has plenty of experience in both radio and television, and he previously worked as a host of the NFL Sunday Ticket Red Zone.

He’s also served as a host for NFL Network’s NFL Total Access.

Siciliano has also covered the past three Olympics and has been a play-by-play announcer for Big Ten Football on NBC.

He also was the Los Angeles Rams’ play-by-play announcer in the preseason just a couple of weeks ago.

Siciliano will join Browns color commentator and Senior Media Broadcaster Nathan Zegura, with Je’Rod Cherry serving as their sideline reporter.

This will be a very promising season for a Browns team that will look to get back to the playoffs, this time with Deshaun Watson at the helm.

Hopefully, Donovan will win this battle and watch his beloved team find success on the field as well.
