If there’s a team that learned that you can never have too much depth at quarterback the hard way, it’s definitely the Cleveland Browns.
Kevin Stefanski’s team had to turn to four different starting quarterbacks last season.
That’s why it only made sense that they brought in some other quarterbacks and wanted to get a glimpse of their play during the preseason.
And while his play was far from perfect, a recent hustle play by Tyler Huntley may have gotten him a place on a 53-man roster, even if it’s not with the Browns.
As shown by the NFL on Twitter, Huntley refused to give up on a play after throwing an interception.
He got back on his feet, picked up his helmet, and hustled all the way to the sideline to tackle the defender and prevent the pick-six.

Granted, he shouldn’t have thrown the interception in the first place, but that speaks volumes about his hustle and speed.
The Browns will most likely roll with Jameis Winston as Deshaun Watson’s backup, and they seem quite high on Dorian Thompson-Robinson, who should also crack the roster.
But if they don’t keep a fourth quarterback around, given his expertise as a practice squad dual-threat quarterback, Huntley should be able to land on his feet somewhere around the league.
