The Pittsburgh Pirates came into Fenway Park and made a statement on Monday night with their 7-6 win over the Boston Red Sox.
Leading the way was star outfielder Bryan Reynolds, who hit two home runs, the second of which proved to be the difference in the game.
It was a solo shot in the top of the fourth inning that helped the Bucs extend their lead to 7-5 over the Sox.
The win put the Pirates at 2-2 and brought them back to the .500 mark.
On Twitter, MLB posted a video of Reynolds’ second home run, one that went over the right field wall and just out of the reach of Alex Verdugo.

Reynolds certainly carried the Pirates on Monday as they defeated the Red Sox.
With the schedule being more balanced, National League teams will be seeing American League teams more often, and vice versa.
Now, every team will play each other at least once.
And on Monday, the Pirates made the most of their stay in Boston and experience at Fenway Park.
Reynolds made himself right at home with his two blasts.
The slugger and star outfielder may not be with the Pirates for much longer, but he put together a solid performance on Monday night and led the team to an important victory in a hostile environment.
The Pirates will try for a series win on Tuesday as they match up with the Red Sox again.
They’ll look for Reynolds to continue his power surge at Fenway after a strong performance on Monday.
