Baseball is a game of ups and downs.
It’s a game full of joy and success, but also can consist of failures and heartbreak.
No matter which level of baseball certain players are at, the game will always have a way of providing joy, but also heartbreak.
On Sunday, the Mid-Atlantic Little League team fell short in their game at the Little League World Series in Williamsport, Pennsylvania, just hours before the Philadelphia Phillies and Washington Nationals squared off in Major League Baseball’s Little League Classic.
After the game, Bryce Harper visited the team and gave them some important advice, sharing a touching moment with the team, via Foul Territory.

Harper knew that the boys from the Mid-Atlantic team were disappointed after a tough loss to end their run.
However, Harper has been through pain during his baseball journey, with the Phillies having recently been eliminated by the Houston Astros in the World Series.
And so, Harper did everything in his power to cheer the boys up and make them feel better.
The veteran slugger told the team that even in defeat, players can learn something and that playing in the Little League World Series is a stepping stone for them to become better players.
Harper also preached the importance of having fun together as a team and enjoying each other’s company.
He talked about how important it is to build camaraderie on a baseball team and for all players to be pulling for each other and fighting for one goal at hand.
Harper congratulated them on their run before getting a little bit emotional himself.
