Bryce Young, the No. 1 pick in April’s NFL draft, is starting to embark on his rookie season and what could be a very successful pro career.
The new quarterback of the Carolina Panthers just finished a stellar college career at the University of Alabama, where he won the Heisman Trophy and led the Crimson Tide to a win in the 2022 Sugar Bowl.
He recently revealed that when he was a freshman at Alabama, he was also a driver for DoorDash during his spare time.

It is fair to say that Young will never need to have a side hustle such as delivering food ever again.
Plenty of scouts and analysts see stardom in his future, even though some have concerns about his modest stature, as he was measured at 5-foot-10 and just over 200 pounds at the NFL combine.
Unlike most No. 1 overall picks, he will have some help right away.
The Panthers have D’Onta Foreman, a solid running back who posted 914 rushing yards last year with most of his production coming after Christian McCaffrey was traded in October.
Wide receivers Adam Thielen and DJ Chark will give Young two proven targets downfield, while veteran quarterback Andy Dalton gives Carolina a nice insurance option just in case.
If Young instantly plays very well this season, perhaps Carolina could challenge for a playoff spot, especially given the lack of depth throughout the NFC.
The Panthers went 7-10 in 2022 and have been a laughingstock for a while, as they haven’t been to the postseason since the 2017 campaign.
