Coming into the 2023-24 NBA regular season, the Milwaukee Bucks were considered a heavyweight in the Eastern Conference once again, with the team getting superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo back from injury and the acquisition of fellow superstar Damian Lillard.
The two-headed monster of Lillard and Antetokounmpo was as an intimidating duo in the league as any, with many believing this team could be the team to beat in the NBA, especially with other additions to the squad like sharpshooter Malik Beasley, who would have the luxury of having a ton of open shots as the result of playing with this superstar duo in Milwaukee.
Unfortunately for Milwaukee, the dream of winning another title ended quickly when Antetokounmpo went down with a scary calf strain, resulting in a first-round exit against the Indiana Pacers, as Lillard couldn’t shoulder the load by himself.
With the Bucks hoping to get back to full strength before next season, the team will make changes in the offseason, and one of those changes might be out of their hands, with Chris Haynes of Bleacher Report reporting that Beasley will likely leave the team in NBA free agency this summer via NBA Central.
“Malik essentially has played his last game for the Milwaukee Bucks,” Haynes said.

After a forgettable season with the Los Angeles Lakers, Beasley signed with the Bucks last summer and was able to return to form as one of the league’s best three-point shooters.
Beasley played in 76 regular-season games for the Bucks, averaging 11.3 points, 3.7 rebounds and 1.4 assists per game, shooting 53.3% from the floor and 41.3% from beyond the arc.
