When the Milwaukee Bucks once again ended their season in disappointment, many people assumed some changes were coming to the team.
Of course, the Bucks wouldn’t dare move Giannis Antetokounmpo or Damian Lillard, so who does that leave?
Apparently, Brook Lopez might be on his way out.
According to Jake Fischer, per Evan Sidery, the Bucks are “gauging the trade value” for Lopez, who averaged 12.5 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 2.4 blocks while going 36.6% from the three-point line in 2023–24.

Lopez has spent his last six seasons in Milwaukee, using his strength, size, and experience to help them win a championship in 2021 and reach the playoffs multiple times.
Not only has he become a reliable starter for the Bucks but he is also a fan favorite.
However, changes are on the horizon for the Bucks.
Last season was full of some massive adjustments, with the addition of Lillard, the firing of head coach Adrian Griffin, and the hiring of Doc Rivers to replace him.
Injuries again prevented the Bucks from going far in the postseason and the front office is hoping next season doesn’t look like the last.
Rivers has already made some tweaks to the way the team works and there is a chance that Lopez just doesn’t fit into his plans.
He could fetch a big return on the trade market this summer, although there are a few NBA big men who are free agents and possibly on the move.
That could complicate Milwaukee’s goal of shipping him to another team.
It would be interesting to see who the Bucks would get in exchange for Lopez and how that new player would fit into Rivers’ lineup.
