Last summer, the Milwaukee Bucks shook up the NBA world with their blockbuster acquisition of Damian Lillard.

They might be less active this summer but will still be working hard to have a strong comeback season.

Adrian Wojnarowski is reporting that free agent guard Delon Wright has agreed to a one-year, $3.3 million deal with the Bucks.

This isn’t a ground-breaking deal that improves their chances of winning a title but it does give the Bucks a bit more depth.

Wright has been in the league for nine years, playing for teams such as the Toronto Raptors, Dallas Mavericks, Washington Wizards, and others.

He last played for the Miami Heat and averaged 5.4 points, 1.9 rebounds, and 2.6 assists per game in 2023-24.

Wright will be joining a Bucks team that really needs to improve next season.

The combination of Lillard and Giannis Antetokounmpo looked good at times but the team still struggled a lot and wasn’t able to have a good playoff run.

Between bad injuries and switching coaches, it wasn’t a smooth season for Milwaukee.

They are hoping to rebound in a huge way in 2024-25 and wish to become championship contenders again.

Antetokounmpo has made no secret of his desire to win another title as soon as possible.

If the Bucks don’t do really well next season, there will be many rumors about him possibly leaving the team.

Therefore, Wright will be part of a dedicated and nearly desperate squad that is trying to reclaim its place in the Eastern Conference.

Can he help them with his output coming off the bench?
