The Milwaukee Bucks just pulled off one of the biggest league-altering deals in recent NBA history.
Acquiring Damian Lillard could have a major ripple effect around the league.
The most affected parties by this trade are obviously the players involved.
That’s why former Bucks guard Grayson Allen trolled himself on Twitter, quoting a former tweet in which he promised the fans he wouldn’t change his jersey number again.
Allen had donned No. 7 in his first season with the Bucks, then changed it to No. 12.
He was ready to wear No. 3 before being sent to the Phoenix Suns as a part of this three-team trade.

The Bucks got significantly better, although they did lose some depth, including Allen.
They lost one of the best defensive point guards in the league in Jrue Holiday, but made up for it with an elite playoff performer and one of the best scorers in the game, not to mention a much better offensive fit to what they need right now.
Back to that ripple effect, this could lead to Giannis Antetokounmpo putting an end to his threats of leaving the Bucks, which obviously hurts the New York Knicks, Miami Heat, and every team reportedly looking to make a run at him.
The trade also made the Phoenix Suns a lot deeper, and while Grayson Allen may not see the floor very often, they now have a better fit of a big man in Jusuf Nurkic, and it wouldn’t be shocking to see them facing off with the Bucks in the NBA Finals.
