For the last few weeks, all of the talk about the Milwaukee Bucks has understandably revolved around Damian Lillard and Giannis Antetokounmpo.
But there are many other players on the team ready to make 2023-24 a season to remember.
Bobby Portis tweeted images of himself and his teammate Pat Connaughton with the caption: “Can’t even lie, this season gonna be fun as hell. LETS GET IT.”
Connaughton retweeted that with his own addition: “Say it louder for the people in the back!!”

The Bucks are obviously ready for the new season to get started.
Both Connaughton and Portis have become a huge part of the team’s success and culture.
This will be Connaughton’s sixth season with the Bucks.
Since coming to Milwaukee in 2018, Connaughton has averaged 7.3 points, 4.4 rebounds, and 1.5 assists per game and has averaged about 22 minutes on the floor.
As for Portis, this will be his fourth season with the Bucks and he has put up 13.4 points and 8.4 rebounds per game during his time in Milwaukee.
Both of these players have proven themselves to be pivotal bench players for the Bucks and they will be needed in the months ahead.
Obviously, Lillard and Antetokounmpo will be the biggest stars of the team.
During this first preseason game together, those two showed that they really might be as good as everyone expected.
Meanwhile, the team will only reach the Finals and win another championship if the rest of the roster plays hard and assists the two lead players every night.
Lillard and Antetokounmpo will get the most attention throughout the season but supporting stars like Connaughton and Portis are just as important.
