C.J. Stroud has been a breath of fresh air for Houston Texans fans.
Stroud has seemingly filled a vital role for an organization looking for an adequate Deshaun Watson replacement on offense.
He is well-liked within the fanbase, and his on-field play has brought him into the MVP conversation as a rookie.
His latest press conference has been received well, as he discussed standing up to a Broncos linebacker.
Regarding his interaction with Alex Singleton this week, Stroud said, “I’m not gonna let someone just come and push me, especially in my house,” according to Ari Meirov.
#Texans QB CJ Stroud on this moment with Broncos LB Alex Singleton:
“I’m not gonna let someone just come and push me, especially in my house. … Like Druski said, I’m gonna stand on business.” pic.twitter.com/2d4c1P6mu2 https://t.co/KAYKf26OVa

Meirov linked a video of a play to this tweet, demonstrating how Stroud was able to draw a penalty from Singleton.
He stayed in the pocket as Singleton came barreling after him, and after the play was whistled dead, Singleton shoved Stroud.
This resulted in a penalty on Singleton, a significant advantage for the Texans at that time.
If Stroud is this confident this early in his career, the Texans should have a star on their hands for the foreseeable future.
Fans have clung to Stroud and his on-field abilities to this point in the season, and with his recent antics in mind, they will likely continue to do so.
He has fought for this team, doing whatever it takes to help them get into a position to win.
For a team that has struggled over the past several seasons, this is all the fanbase can ask for from their new starting QB.
