Caleb Williams has yet to take the field as an NFL player, but he’s already winning with the Chicago Bears.

The city has embraced their No. 1 pick from the very second they drafted him — perhaps even sooner.

He knows that will be his home for years to come, which is why it only makes sense that he starts giving back to those who will root for him as he walks his first steps in the league.

Williams introduced his Caleb Cares Foundation to the city, hosting nearly 700 children from 12 local schools at the Dr. Conrad Worrill Track and Field Center at Gately Park.

For hours, he spent time with the youth and talked to the students about empowerment, mental health, and anti-bullying.

Williams’ foundation is destined to help those youngsters who often feel — or are treated like — they don’t fit in.

Leading to the NFL Draft, Williams drew plenty of mockery and criticism for his demeanor and how he handled himself, so he clearly knows what he’s talking about.

Likewise, he’s leading by example not only by continuing to be whoever he wants to be regardless of the naysayers but also by giving back and reaching out to help those who rarely get someone to listen to them.
