We’ve never seen a more pass-happy National Football League.
Needless to say, that leaves the door open for wide receivers to post never-before-seen numbers, especially with the expanded schedule.
This era features some of the best wide receivers to ever do it.
More than that, the impressive amount of talent in the league makes it significantly difficult for people to choose the clear-cut No. 1.
For Madden, that’s not that difficult, as they’ve already chosen Tyreek Hill as the best in the game with a rating of 99.
However, if you were to ask Cam Newton, he’s not the most skilled wide receiver in the game.
Talking on his podcast, the former MVP stated that Hill is definitely the most dangerous wide receiver in today’s game, adding that he’s one of the most dangerous of all time (via 4th And 1 Show).
But, when it comes to skill, Justin Jefferson is the undisputed alpha dog in the league, and Newton believes he should also be a 99 in the renowned video game.

Per Newton, Jefferson can do absolutely everything on the field; thus making him more skillful than Hill, even if Hill is faster.
Truth be told, any team would be set with either of them.
CeeDee Lamb, AJ Brown, Amon-Ra St. Brown, Davante Adams, Ja’Marr Chase, Brandon Aiyuk, and Mike Evans round up the top ten in the upcoming edition of Madden, and it seems like you just couldn’t go wrong with any choice; it might be a matter of preference at this point.
