The Los Angeles Lakers made multiple moves in the offseason, but there’s one single signing that could end up having a major impact if things go well for them.
They had been keeping tabs on Cam Reddish for quite a while, and he had reportedly shown an interest in playing for the Purple and Gold ever since his name started popping up in trade rumors.
Now that life has granted that wish, Reddish wants to make sure his tenure in Southern California isn’t shortlived and is looking forward to proving that he can contribute at a high level on both ends of the floor.

When asked about what he could bring to the table, the former lottery pick claimed that he’s going to put in a lot of energy on defense and bring some versatility to the offense.
Reddish isn’t a lock to be a part of the rotation, but the talent is definitely there.
He was once considered to be a top-5 pick, and while his offensive efficiency hasn’t been there since he entered the league, he’s shown impressive flashes and glimpses of greatness on both ends of the floor.
The Lakers’ player development staff has been outstanding over the past couple of years, and they could put him up to speed slowly.
He was the ultimate low-risk/high-reward pickup, as they didn’t have to give anything up or spend big bucks to get one of the most sought-after prospects in recent years, and he could end up being the steal of the offseason.
