The Arizona Cardinals have made some moves in the wide receiver room this offseason.

Former 1,000-yard receiver Marquise “Hollywood” Brown left the desert for Kansas City in free agency.

The team made big waves during the NFL Draft last month by drafting All-American wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. with the No. 4 overall pick.

They also just recently added veteran wide receiver Zay Jones, who was a free agent before signing with Arizona.

Head coach Jonathan Gannon is apparently very high on Jones.

According to radio analyst and reporter Paul Calvisi, Gannon believes Jones is “worth the price of admission.”

Gannon also believes that Jones is “extremely smart” and a “three-position receiver.”

Jones gives the Cards some great experience.

The 29-year-old is on his fourth team in six years but is a really quality role player to have out wide.

His best career season came in Jacksonville in 2022 when he caught 82 passes for 823 yards and 5 touchdowns.

With Harrison now in the building, it is hard to classify Jones as the team’s best wide receiver.

But, he is the most experienced.

He has made the playoffs with three different teams and caught passes from multiple Pro Bowl quarterbacks, including Tyrod Taylor, Derek Carr, and Trevor Lawrence.

Now, he will get to catch passes from another Pro Bowl quarterback in Kyler Murray.

With a healthy Murray and some of the additions that Arizona made this offseason, the Cards could surprise some people.

If they do, the experience of players like Jones will play a big role in that.
