The New York Yankees can use all the help they can get.

After losing Aaron Judge to the injured list with a toe injury the Yankees have struggled to keep up in the AL East.

They have a record of 43-35 on the season and are 9.5 games out of first place.

But after a season full of injuries it appears the Yankees are soon to receive some good news.

According to Talkin’ Yanks, Carlos Rodon is on track to make his season debut Wednesday, July 5.

The lefty was signed by the Yankees this offseason but has yet to debut due to a forearm injury and back issues.

Rodon has always been a talented player when healthy.

Each of the past two seasons he has finished in the top-six in Cy Young voting.

Last year was his best season, recording 237 strikeouts in 178 innings.

The Yankees hope that getting Rodon back will stabilize their rotation.

After Gerrit Cole, they have had nothing but question marks.

Even if the AL East race is fading out of view the Yankees can still be a Wild Card team.

With the return of Judge unknown, the Yankees may have to rely on their pitching this year.

As usual, you can expect the Yankees will be looking to make some major moves at the trade deadline.

They have never been shy to trade prospects for players that will help now.

Do not be surprised to see the Yankees involved around the trade deadline.
