As Houston Texans backup quarterback Case Keenum enters his 12th NFL season with his seventh franchise, there is little he hasn’t seen.
So when he told NFL insider Aaron Wilson that new Texans wide receiver Stefon Diggs is impressive, it is worth noting.
Keenum described the acquisition from the Buffalo Bills as being able to “do some dirty things on some routes that I haven’t seen anybody be able to do.”
The long-time quarterback said that Diggs is “dynamic” and “hasn’t lost a step.”

In a telling statement that should worry AFC South opponents, Keenum said Diggs displays the experience and wisdom that come with years in the NFL.
The receiver is a professional who works at his craft and hones his skills to ensure a long playing career.
Diggs enters his 10th NFL season sporting four straight seasons where he eclipsed the 100-reception mark.
He also topped 1,000 yards in receiving for six straight years.
Now, he will display his talents in Houston, which boasts perhaps the most exciting young quarterback in the league, C.J. Stroud.
The Texans also have a young coach in the widely respected DeMeco Ryans, who led his team to an unexpected berth in the playoffs after a disastrous three-win season in 2022.
For Diggs, a four-time Pro Bowler and former All-Pro, it is an opportunity to show yet another fan base how skilled he is on the football field.
Quite a career for a young man who was only a fifth-round selection in the 2015 NFL draft out of Maryland.
