Dallas Cowboys fans can officially breathe a sigh of relief.
CeeDee Lamb has officially signed a massive contract extension to stay with the organization for the foreseeable future.
There were times throughout the offseason when it seemed like Lamb would leave, but in the end, the Cowboys rectified the situation.
Dak Prescott is the next contractual domino to fall, but for now, Cowboys fans can rest easy.
Lamb didn’t make it easy on fans during this time, as he posted a few cryptic tweets and images.
One of those images was a photo of Spider-Man in a black suit, causing questions to be asked across social media.
However, according to Jon Machota on Twitter, Lamb has now cleared up the reason for that photo.
“That’s my favorite superhero. He’s entering his villain arc and I’m coming back for vengeance, so that’s what this is,” Lamb said.

In his mind, this photo wasn’t necessarily meant to scare fans, but rather, to foreshadow what he believes will happen in 2024.
Lamb was already one of the best receivers in the league, but if he’s adopted this new mentality, there’s no telling how much better he’ll play this year.
The Cowboys are looking for the Prescott-Lamb connection to take them a long way this season.
They fell in the first round of the playoffs last year, but if every other unit does their job, Prescott and Lamb are poised to make theirs happen in a big way.
Prescott might not have a plethora of elite receiving options, but having Lamb is a massive advantage.
