After flaming out in the first round of the NFL playoffs last season to the upstart Green Bay Packers, the Dallas Cowboys were thought to be a team that would be aggressive during the NFL offseason to make some moves to get back on track.

While everyone expected the Cowboys to make some game-changing additions, “America’s Team” also had some contract situations to address, namely possible extensions for stars Dak Prescott, Micah Parsons and CeeDee Lamb.

However, the Cowboys’ brass turned out to be unusually quiet during the offseason while other teams in the NFC upgraded their rosters, and Dallas has yet to sign any of its superstars to a new deal, which isn’t sitting well with Lamb, who is considered to be an elite pass-catcher in the NFL.

As if not securing Lamb’s future after a breakout year wasn’t bad enough, longtime owner and general manager Jerry Jones let it be known that he’s feeling no sense of urgency in getting a deal done with the All-Pro wideout, which he has since let be known that he regretted saying.

Lamb recently took to Instagram to post a story that was a picture of Tobey Maguire as Spider-man in his black costume, which some are taking as a sign of revolt and that he might be available for trade, as Savage Sports speculates.

Ceedee Lamb available?????

With the New England Patriots intent on building around rookie quarterback Drake Maye, they would love to bring in a proven wide receiver like Lamb, as they recently pulled out of trade talks with the San Francisco 49ers to acquire Brandon Aiyuk.

If Lamb officially became available on the open market, there would be no shortage of suitors, as he’d be a game-changer for many teams around the league.
