The Dallas Cowboys enter the season with high hopes, as usual.
And while some of their critics aren’t as high on them as their fans usually are, there’s no denying that they have some very talented young pieces.
CeeDee Lamb is obviously one of their most talented offensive players right now, which is why his ongoing contract extension talks have been a major talking point among the fans and their insiders for months now.
That’s why he wanted to set the record straight, telling Jon Machota of The Athletic that he’s not fully involved in those talks as of now.
Cowboys WR CeeDee Lamb said he isn’t constantly asking his agent for updates on his contract status. “I told him he has full range. I just want the best of the best as far as the best for me and make sure everything is right. And when it’s right, just come let me know something.…

Lamb claimed that he gave his agent ‘full range’ to negotiate and that he would only get involved when talks were more advanced.
Per the talented wideout, all he wants and needs to do right now is to keep working and being as good a player as he can, letting his agent handle the rest.
That’s the kind of attitude any franchise wants from their best players.
It’s all about working, and business will eventually take care of itself.
Lamb is expected to have a primary role in the Cowboys’ passing game again.
They have plenty of talent with Brandin Cooks and Michael Gallup as well, but neither of them is on the same level as him.
Even so, the Cowboys are expected to be a run-heavy team next season, with RB Tony Pollard running the ball early and often and having as many carries and touches as he can handle.
