There were a lot of exciting moments on Wednesday night as the Boston Celtics faced off against the Philadelphia 76ers in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference semifinals.

However, one moment stood out and it had nothing to do with basketball.

Following the game, Celtics star Marcus Smart spoke to the press as he had a snack.

However, the treat he was enjoying was a box of his very own cereal, appropriately called “Wicked Smarts.”

Smart joked that the cereal was “the smartest thing to be eating.”

Smart deserved a tasty reward after such a good game.

He produced 15 points and 5 rebounds during the 121-87 victory over the Sixers.

So far this postseason, Smart has averaged 15.9 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 5 assists.

Just one year after winning his first Defensive Player of the Year award, Smart remains one of his team’s most valuable players on both ends of the court.

As for his cereal, any fan of the Celtics can make it a part of their balanced breakfast.

The cereal is actually sold in select stores as well as online.

It is made with oat cereal as well as marshmallows and a portion of each sale goes to the Young GameChanger Foundation.

As of Thursday morning, the cereal was sold out through most outlets online, proving that Smart’s form of marketing on Wednesday night was paying off.

NBA stars have been a part of all sorts of marketing deals throughout the years.

Smart’s brand of breakfast cereal is perhaps one of the most unique and fans are quite literally eating it up.
