The Los Angeles Chargers will see some changes made to their offense this upcoming season.

They have a new offensive coordinator in Kellen Moore who comes over from the Dallas Cowboys.

He led many seasons of successful offenses in Dallas and the Chargers expect him to do the same.

Moore will get to work with Justin Herbert and an offensive loaded with talented players.

According to Around The NFL, Moore is excited about the height in the wide receiver room.

He said, “We’re going to be throwing in a different jet stream.”

The Chargers already had Keenan Allen and Mike Williams in the fold entering the offseason.

But in the first round of the NFL Draft, they selected TCU wide receiver Quentin Johnson.

Williams and Johnson are both 6’4″ and will cause serious issues for smaller secondaries.

Not to mention, Allen is one of the best route runners in the NFL and can cause problems in the slot.

The Chargers have the personnel in place to be one of the top offenses in the NFL.

It will be interesting to see what they look like with Moore calling the plays.

In 2022 with the Cowboys, he had a similar offense of skill players and the offense was almost 1:1 in terms of run and pass plays.

But that also could be because the Cowboys were without Dak Prescott for five games.

It is fair to assume that Herbert could be in for a career year with his new play-caller.

The Chargers will need a good offense to be able to compete in the AFC West.
