The Los Angeles Chargers lost their top two wide receivers in the offseason.

Keenan Allen and Mike Williams left to join the Chicago Bears and New York Jets, respectively, leaving a big void to fill for the passing game.

Now, a report by Aaron Leicht of The Football Writers Association, shared a clip of Justin Herbert finding rookie WR Ladd McConkey in practice, stating that he’s already been listed as the top option on the depth chart.

The Chargers didn’t use their first-round pick on any of the high-end wide receivers, drawing some criticism during the NFL Draft.

However, it didn’t take long before they addressed that need, taking one of the most promising wideouts entering the league by getting the Georgia product.

Projected as a first-round pick in at least half of the mock drafts, the Chargers didn’t hesitate to trade up to nab him, and reports from training camp have been more than encouraging.

He’s one of the best in this class in terms of creating separation and piling up yards after the catch.

And with Justin Herbert’s great arm and a new-look offense under new coach Jim Harbaugh, he could break out right out of the gate.

All eyes will be on the Chargers next season, and the fans will most definitely like what they see.
