Charles Barkley Admits He’s Lost $25 Million In Gambling

 

Charles Barkley was a very successful athlete when he was in the NBA, and has also had a long run in sports media after retiring from the game.

He is well-known for his show on TNT with Shaquille O’Neal, Ernie Johnson, and Kenny Smith.

Many NBA fans love tuning into this group of four, as they tend to provide lots of soundbites and great entertainment overall.

Barkley also appears on other shows and podcasts when he has time.

His latest endeavor was with Shannon Sharpe, as he appeared on “Club Shay Shay” to talk about the latest and greatest in his life.

One of the topics Sharpe brought up was gambling, as Barkley is a notorious gambler.

Barkley admitted that he has lost $25 million while gambling, but also said, “I love to gamble, I don’t like to gamble.”

Barkley shared that he has won over a million dollars on seven different nights, but there have been far more nights where he lost a million dollars.

Even though Barkley might be able to afford these losses, he also shared that his friends have tried to warn him to quit while he’s ahead.

He indicated that if he listened to his friends more, he might have had more positive experiences at casinos and that he wouldn’t have lost on so many occasions.

At $25,000 per hand, people like Barkley can either make a lot of money quickly, or they can lose a lot of money quickly, which seems to be a big part of the chase.
