The Minnesota Timberwolves are no fluke.
They’re the only undefeated team in the playoffs, and they took the defending champions by storm on the road.
Of course, Chris Finch deserves plenty of credit for the way he’s had his team ready to play, especially on the defensive end of the floor.
However, none of this would’ve been possible if it wasn’t for Anthony Edwards’ stellar play.
That’s why, following their huge win in Game 1, Hall of Famer Charles Barkley wanted to put the world on notice, letting everybody know that Ant-Man had officially arrived (via Nadine Babu).

Edwards had a majestic performance, scoring 43 points.
He had seven rebounds, three assists, three three-pointers, one steal, and two blocks, cementing himself as a rising two-way superstar.
He clearly benefitted from suiting up for Team USA in the summer, as he’s become an outstanding defender in just his fourth year in the league after being a liability on that end of the floor for most of his career.
Edwards has drawn comparisons to Dwyane Wade, but — with all due respect to The Flash — his ceiling is clearly higher.
Of course, Wade led the Miami Heat to a championship as he was taking his first steps in the league.
The Timberwolves still have plenty of basketball ahead of them, and it won’t be easy to take the Nuggets down three more times.
Still, anything seems possible when you have a player like that on your team.
