The final two rounds of the NBA’s first-ever In-Season Tournament get underway in Las Vegas tonight, with the Milwaukee Bucks taking on the Indiana Pacers and the Los Angeles Lakers facing the New Orleans Pelicans.
ESPN and TNT have pulled out all the stops with their top analysts in Sin City to talk about the festivities.
Arguably, the two most popular media figures right now who share their opinions about the NBA every week are Stephen A. Smith of ESPN and Charles Barkley of NBA on TNT.
On Thursday, Barkley hilariously set the record straight ahead of tipoff between the Bucks and Pacers that he’ll be putting Smith in his place if he insists on loud talking to get his point across, via ESPN.

Smith has become famous and a very wealthy man for the way he expresses his takes on ESPN, while Barkley has made even more money off the court for his in-your-face commentary about the league while challenging others like Smith on live television.
Needless to say, with these two popular figures in top form, the NBA’s In-Season Tournament will be incredibly entertaining both on and off the court, which only improves the chances of the league seeing some massive ratings for the two games played tonight in Las Vegas.
It’ll be interesting to see if these two games turn out to be as competitive as the league hopes while being followed up with an epic championship game for the NBA Cup on Saturday at T-Mobile Arena.
