Even with the NBA going on, sports fans are eagerly waiting for Sunday to watch the San Francisco 49ers and Kansas City Chiefs clash in Super Bowl LVIII.
The Chiefs came from behind to beat the 49ers in Super Bowl LIV, and will need to beat them again if they want to become the first team to repeat as Super Bowl champions since the New England Patriots.
Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce have openly talked about how much they want to win a third Super Bowl together, while San Francisco is plenty motivated to exorcise their postseason demons and win their first championship in decades.
Every year the Super Bowl seems to grow into a bigger event and Super Bowl LVIII is shaping up to be huge because of the Las Vegas atmosphere and the stars in attendance.
However, bigger spectacles mean higher ticket prices for fans who want to watch history unfold in person.
Charles Barkley had a hilarious reaction when he found out that the average Super Bowl LVIII ticket cost between $6,300 and $44,000 via TNT.
“I don’t give a damn how much money you got, if you pay $44,000 to go to the Super Bowl you a damn fool and an idiot,” Barkley said. “That’s crazy.”

Barkley speaks for a lot of fans out there who don’t have the funds to pay so much for a one-time event.
Most die-hard football fans would have a hard time justifying the price, so expect people like Barkley to enjoy the festivities from the comfort of their own homes.
