Just a couple of days ago, it seemed like the Denver Nuggets were ready to repeat as NBA champions or at least make it to the NBA Finals.
Now, it seems like they might not even win another game this season.
The Minnesota Timberwolves took Denver by storm, leaving with back-to-back road wins, and that’s despite not having Rudy Gobert in Game 2.
More than that, they absolutely dominated the defending champions in the second game of the series, shutting them down on defense, and never taking their foot off the gas on offense.
That’s why Hall of Famer Charles Barkley believes this series is officially a wrap.
Following the game, the legendary power forward claimed that there is just no way the Nuggets can come back from this, as they don’t have an advantage anywhere.
Chuck: “This series is a wrap. Minnesota is better than the Nuggets. They don’t have an advantage anywhere. … They’re gonna sweep the Denver Nuggets. Period.” pic.twitter.com/Wt4aqexO1n

On top of that, Barkley believes that Anthony Edwards isn’t only a dog; he might be a wolf.
Barkley states that every time a team has ‘that player,’ it seems like they cannot lose, and the Timberwolves clearly have ‘that guy’ right now.
Edwards has been the best player in the playoffs thus far, and it hasn’t been particularly close.
Barkley claimed that he didn’t know whether the Timberwolves would go on to win the whole thing, but one thing was for sure: Whoever they face in the next round — if they end up moving on — is going to have a tough time, and it’ll be an entertaining matchup.
