The Golden State Warriors lost another heartbreaker.
Just when it seemed like they were ready to head to overtime and had all the momentum vs. the Denver Nuggets, Nikola Jokic pulled an epic trick out of his bag and beat the buzzer with a half-court shot.
That kind of thing has happened way too many times this season, which is why NBA legend Charles Barkley believes this is the end of the dynasty.
Following the loss, Barkley claimed that he still believes the Warriors are done.
“[The Warriors] were cooked and they still are. They’re not gonna make the playoffs,” Barkley said.
“[The Warriors] were cooked and they still are. They’re not gonna make the playoffs. … They’re past their prime. … Old people just get older, they don’t get better.”

He stated they were ‘cooked’ at the beginning of the season, and he doubled down on that take by predicting they won’t even make the playoffs this season.
Barkley explained that as much as he loves Klay Thompson and Draymond Green, they’re just old and past their prime, and they won’t be able to do things consistently.
As for Stephen Curry, he knows he’s still one of the best and can explode every now and then, but he’s not at a point where he can carry the load on his own.
Barkley explained that it all depended on James Wiseman and Jonathan Kuminga, and now that the former is on another team and the latter took so long to start contributing, there’s simply no hope for this team because they’re just too old.
People have counted out the Warriors way too many times in the past and they’ve proven them wrong over and over.
But for the first time, it seems like the end might actually be here.
