The 2023 season provided some ups and downs for the Indianapolis Colts.
They started the year strong, but when Anthony Richardson went down with a season-ending injury, it was unclear what the rest of their campaign would look like.
Despite not having their rookie QB at the helm, the Colts made it work and nearly reached the playoffs with Gardner Minshew leading the way.
After their 2023 season, the Colts are ready to attack 2024, especially now that Richardson is seemingly healthy and ready to be under center all year.
While there have been some questions about Richardson’s abilities, former QB Chase Daniel has been impressed with what he’s seen from Richardson in the preseason.
In a video he shared on Twitter, Daniel lauded Richardson’s “insane arm talent,” indicating that Richardson’s NFL ceiling is still plenty high.
The first thing that jumps off the film with Anthony Richardson: INSANE ARM TALENT
His game has improved drastically from last year…some accuracy issues are there. But, there’s absolutely zero debate who is QB1 in Indy.

Daniel did note a few accuracy issues, which have seemingly been Richardson’s kryptonite up to this point, but other than that, he is excited for the young player.
Richardson represents the new era of NFL quarterbacks.
Many of the new-age quarterbacks have great arms but also can take off on the run at a moment’s notice.
While not every QB has the same level of rushing upside, having the ability to rush for a first down is critical.
Statue quarterbacks are a thing of the past, and with Richardson’s Lamar Jackson-like upside, Colts fans are excited to see what their future holds.
Can the Colts put it all together this season with a full year having Richardson under center?
