On Saturday, at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium, the defending Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs will play host to the Miami Dolphins, with the Buffalo Bills forcing Tua Tagovailoa and company into the sixth seed in the AFC as a result of winning the AFC East division title in Week 18.

Even though the Dolphins have been a dominant football team all season long, Mike McDaniel’s squad will head into this playoff matchup on the road with the Chiefs as the underdog.

Usually, this would be a classic matchup between two high-powered offenses, with Miami lighting up the scoreboard on a weekly basis and Patrick Mahomes doing his thing for Kansas City.

However, this time, the Dolphins will come into this matchup with the edge offensively, with the Chiefs no longer the dominant force on offense, especially with the team dealing with some injuries on that side of the football.

According to the team’s Twitter account, wide receivers Kadarius Toney (hip/ankle) and Justyn Ross (hamstring) are currently listed as questionable while offensive tackle Wanya Morris has been ruled out with a concussion.

With Toney and Ross potentially missing this game or, at the very least, playing through injuries, the Chiefs will lean on Rashee Rice and Justin Watson to help shoulder the load at the wide receiver position.

It’ll be interesting to see if the Chiefs’ offense can get going against the Dolphins and if Miami can hold off Mahomes and company with the team being ravaged by injuries as of late on the defensive side of the football.
