The Kansas City Chiefs enter this season as the back-to-back Super Bowl champions.
Needless to say, there’s not much you could improve on a team that has already hoisted the Vince Lombardi trophy twice in as many seasons, but even good things can get better.
Notably, the Chiefs’ most glaring need was more depth and talent at wide receiver.
They addressed that by drafting Xavier Worthy and getting Marquise ‘Hollywood’ Brown, but they didn’t stop there.
According to a report by Matt Derrick of Chiefs Digest, they’ve also signed former New Orleans Saints WR Kyle Sheets.

The Saints signed him as an undrafted free agent out of Slippery Rock shortly after the NFL Draft, but he was cut right after minicamp.
Now, he’s going to round out the Chiefs’ 91-man roster.
While not the most high-profile player, Sheets has the physical tools to be a solid option.
He’s listed at 6-foot-4 and 220 pounds and was a dominant player at every level he’s played thus far.
Needless to say, he’s going to have to work his way up on the depth chart, and there’s no guarantee that he’ll even be on the team by the end of the season, given the Chiefs’ Super Bowl aspirations.
Then again, with Rashee Rice’s future still hanging by a thread and Skyy Moore, Kadarius Toney, and Justin Watson failing to establish themselves as steady contributors to the offense, perhaps he could become yet another great story and a factor for a team that’s looking to make history.
