Every season there are a few undrafted players who play a role during the regular season.

One player who has shown flashes for the Kansas City Chiefs is wide receiver Justyn Ross.

Many remember Ross from his time at Clemson.

He recorded 1,000 receiving yards and nine touchdowns as a freshman for the Tigers.

But, his college career was mostly derailed by injuries.

He suffered an injury in May of 2020 that forced him to miss his entire junior year.

Also, a stress fracture he suffered at Clemson in 2021 held him out his entire rookie season with KC.

It is quite clear Ross has had some tough injury luck during his career.

According to Ari Meirov, the hits just keep on coming for the 23-year-old.

Ross was carted off the practice field with a leg/hamstring injury on Tuesday.

Ross has shown flashes of brilliance during training camp.

Also, in his first preseason game, he caught two passes for 29 yards and one touchdown.

That was the first time we saw Ross in an NFL game and he flourished.

It remains to be seen how bad the injury Ross just suffered is.

But, it is not a good sign to see him once again in the injury tent.

The talent is there for Ross, and he is good enough to play in the NFL.

Yet, his body refuses to hold up.

Hopefully, this injury is not bad and he can return to the field sooner than later.
