The Minnesota Timberwolves have officially made it to the Western Conference Finals, an achievement that many people believed would not happen.

The Timberwolves had to get past the reigning champions, the Denver Nuggets, to get there, but they found a way to win when it meant the most.

Despite being a small market team, the Timberwolves have seemingly found a recipe for success.

They’ve had great contributions from several players on their roster, but Anthony Edwards’ star impact is undeniable.

Edwards is already viewed as a top-10 player in the league, and many analysts have moved him up that ladder as the playoffs have gone on.

He has been compared to the likes of Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant to this point, but not everyone shares this belief.

Chris Broussard recently gave his player comparison of Edwards in a recent segment of “First Things First” on FS1.

“Anthony Edwards is more like Dwayne Wade with a jumpshot,” Broussard said.

“Anthony Edwards is more like Dwyane Wade with a jumpshot.”

Broussard sees more of Wade’s game in Edwards.

He is an explosive player who can provide electrifying dunks when needed, but he is also impactful on the glass, on defense, and as a facilitator.

The Timberwolves have greatly benefitted from his presence on this team, and they hope to keep that momentum moving throughout the Western Conference Finals.

They are one series away from their first NBA Finals berth as an organization, making this a potentially historic playoff run for this team.

Can they figure out a way to close out the Dallas Mavericks, a team with a lot of recent playoff experience?
