This has been an NBA season for the ages.

The Western Conference has been a blood bath, with the so-call contending teams still fighting their way into the playoffs while other smaller markets have thrived.

The Eastern Conference, however, doesn’t seem as wide-open as the West.

While there have been four or five teams that have outplayed most of the Conference, it seems like just three of them have a legit chance to make it to the NBA Finals.

At least, that’s what sports analyst Chris Broussard seems to think.

Recently, Broussard put together a list of his top three candidates to come out of the East, choosing the Philadephia 76ers at three, Boston Celtics at two, and Milwaukee Bucks at one.

.@Chris_Broussard breaks down which teams have the best chance to reach the NBA Finals from the Wild Wild Eastern Conference:

This list makes perfect sense right now.

Joel Embiid is playing at an MVP level, and James Harden has been mostly healthy this season.

Regardless of Doc Rivers’ well-documented playoff meltdowns, they still have the personnel to put together a deep playoff run.

The Boston Celtics just made it to the NBA Finals last season, and they were the best team in the East for a big stretch this year.

Their duo of Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum is one of the best in the league, and they haven’t even reached their peak.

As for the Milwaukee Bucks, they’ve looked like the best team in the NBA over the past couple of months, and they’ll only get better once Khris Middleton and Jae Crowder come around.
