With the Dallas Cowboys losing to the Green Bay Packers in the first round of the NFL playoffs, longtime owner Jerry Jones may decide to make some drastic moves during the NFL offseason, starting with the head coaching position.

Coming into the game against the Packers at AT&T Stadium, Cowboys head coach Mike McCarthy seemed to be safe as the leader on the sideline for America’s Team, but after such a disappointing loss and so many prominent names on the open market, it might be time to move on and find a head coach that can get it done in the postseason.

Fortunately for Jones, some intriguing candidates are out there on the open market, with former New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick potentially being at the top of the list along with Jim Harbaugh out of the University of Michigan.

On Monday, Chris Broussard of FOX Sports made it clear that if Jones is truly serious about winning another Super Bowl during his stint as team owner, he needs to go after Belichick, via “First Things First.”

“If Jerry Jones is serious about winning a Super Bowl, he should’ve been on the phone last night with Bill Belichick.”

Broussard isn’t wrong in his assessment, as it might be time to bring in someone who is serious about winning and can instantly change the culture in Dallas while getting the best out of this team that is stacked on both sides of the football.

The real question is whether Belichick is interested in coaching the Cowboys and dealing with everything that comes with coaching in Dallas, with the Jones family hovering over every move and decision made.
