The Los Angeles Lakers are good, but they’re not championship-level good.

With that in mind, sports analyst Chris Broussard claimed that the team should make a move.

Nonetheless, he also admits that he doesn’t know whether the move they need to make is out there.

Talking on First Things First, Broussard talked about how the Lakers’ supporting cast is actually better than people give them credit for, yet it’s become more than evident that they need another star.

“The Lakers need to make a move to be a championship team, I just don’t know what move is out there,” Broussard said.

D’Angelo Russell has played like the third-best player on the team for quite a while now, and we already know what LeBron James and Anthony Davis are capable of when they’re on the floor.

Still, with the Los Angeles Clippers, Phoenix Suns, Minnesota Timberwolves, and Oklahoma City Thunder currently firing on all cylinders, they simply may not have enough firepower to keep up with them.

There have also been plenty of doubts regarding Darvin Ham and his ability to lead this team forward.

Whatever the case, Rob Pelinka needs to put in some overtime and make some moves before Thursday’s trade deadline.

Otherwise, this will be just another wasted season of LeBron James’ career, and he may not have that many years playing at this level ahead of him, so that’s something they simply cannot afford.
