Many people are still talking about a possible trade that sends Damian Lillard to the Miami Heat.
What will this package look like and which players and assets will be exchanged?
Chris Broussard believes the Blazers would be smart to take Heat star Nikola Jovic.
In the closing moments of “First Things First” on Friday, Broussard made his case for Jovic to Portland.
“I’m also turning the corner on the Miami [Dame Lillard trade] offer. [Nikola] Jović, 6’10”. [The Blazers] need some size, skill. And it’s not just the name. He can ball. He can ball.” – @Chris_Broussard on @FTFonFS1 pic.twitter.com/WTPyO4oDzH

Jovic has indeed been one of the names often mentioned in any possible trade that acquires Lillard from the Blazers.
To some, he is seen as just an insignificant piece of any potential deal.
But to others, the young man has a lot of promise and the Blazers would be smart to hold onto him.
The forward has only played one season so far, averaging 5.5 points and 2.1 rebounds per game.
But he participated in just 15 games during his rookie year and only played a bit more than 13 minutes per game.
At 6-foot-10 with a strong physical build and a lot of youth, Jovic certainly has a lot of possibilities.
He is not an All-Star, at least not yet, but he has the potential to become one.
The Blazers will be in a tricky spot if they lose Lillard.
Their biggest superstar in decades will be gone and they will be in the process of rebuilding the team.
Young players like Jovic could be a central part of that rebuild.
For most of his rookie year, most of the attention Jovic got was because of his name and how similar it was to Finals MVP Nikola Jokic.
But will he be earning interest from people for other reasons soon?
