The NFL season is just around the corner, with the first game kicking off in less than a month.
With that in mind, analysts and fans are making big claims about the upcoming year, hoping to predict much of what might transpire.
Some teams could overachieve what they have done in previous seasons, and others could put together surprisingly bad years.
The San Francisco 49ers, for instance, have been among the most consistent teams in the league for the past two seasons.
They made it to the NFC Championship in 2022 and made it back to the Super Bowl in 2021.
While they came up short of a title, there’s reason to believe the 49ers will be in a similar position this year, hoping they can pick up where they left off.
Chris Broussard recently talked about the 49ers heading into 2024, particularly emphasizing what Brock Purdy needs to accomplish.
“It’s Super Bowl or bust for Brock Purdy,” Broussard said via FOX Sports Radio.

In his mind, Purdy has proven himself to be an NFL starter, no questions asked.
However, after seeing the team the 49ers have formulated around him, Broussard believes there’s no reason why they shouldn’t make it back to the big game.
They have one of the best defenses in the league, and their grouping of skill-position players is second to none.
Purdy needs to keep recapturing the magic he found from his first two years in the league, and all should be well for this top-tier NFC contender.
