With the NFL season just around the corner, everybody’s putting together a list of predictions, players, and whatnot.
We’ve already seen more than enough from teams and players to determine who’s got a legitimate chance to compete at the highest level and who doesn’t.
With that in mind, former NFL player Chris Canty put together his list of the top five best players in the entire National Football League (via UNSPORTSMANLIKE Radio).

At No. 5, he chose Dallas Cowboys EDGE rusher Micah Parsons, one of the most talented and dynamic defensive players in the game.
He can line up as a linebacker or as a defensive end and be efficient in both positions, and he’s about to get a huge contract.
Then, he chose Justin Jefferson, the absolute best wide receiver in the most stacked wide receiver era in recent times.
The Minnesota Vikings didn’t hesitate to make him the highest-paid wideout in the league and for very good reason.
At No. 3, he has the best offensive lineman in the league, Trent Williams of the San Francisco 49ers.
Williams is holding out, and the Niners will be forced to meet his demands at some point.
Then, he chose Myles Garrett of the Cleveland Browns, the reigning Defensive Player of the Year.
Like some of the greatest ever, Garrett has literally forced opposing offensive coordinators to game-plan around him.
Unsurprisingly, he chose Patrick Mahomes as the best player in the game right now.
The Kansas City Chiefs have the only quarterback who could legitimately challenge Tom Brady for the GOAT status and winningest quarterback distinction.
