The Golden State Warriors began the 2023 offseason with one of the most blockbuster trades in recent memory.

Chris Paul joined the team after they sent away Jordan Poole, Ryan Rollins, Patrick Baldwin Jr, and two draft picks.

Paul is famously known for being one of the best players in NBA history not to have a championship ring.

He’ll look to change that with the Warriors, especially given the current talent on their roster.

The Warriors’ official Twitter page shared some comments from Paul, who said he’s excited about the “fluidness that the team plays with.”

The Warriors are one of the most dynastic teams in NBA history, winning the NBA Finals four times in the past ten years.

After losing in the Western Conference Semifinals in the 2022-2023 season, the Warriors are hungry to return to the NBA Finals.

Paul has played many career games against the Warriors, so he already knows how they operate.

Steph Curry, Draymond Green, and Klay Thompson remain the team’s cornerstones.

Can Paul’s career experience and skill level take this team to the next level?

Many fans believed the team would keep Poole.

He’s a young player who has shown promise, and the organization seemed to believe in his abilities.

Now that he’s gone, Paul will likely play a similar role on this offense, a facilitator that can score if the need presents itself.

Can the Warriors reclaim their spot as the NBA’s top team, utilizing Paul’s skillset to get there?
