The Golden State Warriors are now officially a part of the Scott Foster curse because of their ties to Chris Paul.

For those who lack context, Foster and Paul have starred in one of the most infamous feuds in NBA history, and while we don’t know the origins of this story, it’s not a secret that they don’t like each other.

It reached a point where NBA teams featuring Chris Paul lost thirteen (13) consecutive playoff games officiated by Scott Foster.

Whether that’s a coincidence or not remains to be seen.

Foster even ejected Paul earlier this season with two quick technical fouls, and NBA Commissioner Adam Silver recently shared his thoughts on the matter, urging both to stay professional even if they don’t like each other.

However, Paul recently stated that neither the Commissioner nor anybody else from the league reached out to him to discuss the matter (via Warriors on NBC Sports).

Paul accused Foster of talking about his son before he said something back to him and got ejected, although the game footage didn’t show any evidence of that.

Perhaps Paul is to blame for this, perhaps it is Foster, or perhaps it is just a coincidence.

Whatever the case, the league just shouldn’t assign him to Paul’s games anymore, as it’s become a talking point and it hurts the credibility of the game.
