It sounds like Chris Paul is excited to get started with the Golden State Warriors.
Paul sat down with ESPN to talk about his summer youth basketball camp but he touched upon way more than that.
He talked about what lies ahead for him and this new team, the Warriors.
“I’m excited about Steph, Draymond, Klay, all the different guys…I’m excited for us to get together and see what it looks like,” Paul said.
Paul said that it’s wild the way the league works.
Just months ago, Paul competed against these players while he was part of the Phoenix Suns.
Now he is going to try to win a championship with them.
Fans of the Warriors are eagerly awaiting to see what Paul can do for the team.
He is obviously one of the most talented and beloved guards in all of the league.
But he has never played on a team like the Warriors.
Even with all his skills, some people are worried that Paul won’t fit in with the roster.
These people wonder if there is really a need for both Paul and Curry.
But the front office clearly believes that they can do something great with Paul on board.
Paul is one of the most acclaimed and celebrated guards in the history of the NBA but he is still without a single championship ring.
The Warriors have a lot of championship experience over the last decade.
Does that mean that they will finally guide Paul to his ultimate NBA achievement?
Or will this lineup of players not pan out, even with all the talent they have?
Paul is obviously ready to find out.
