Haason Reddick is one of the prime headhunters in the National Football League.
Any team in the league would be lucky and thankful to have him out there.
He’s also not acting in good faith, and that’s not doing him any favors.
Both statements are true and can coexist.
At least, that’s how NFL analyst Chris Simms feels about this situation.
Simms shared his thoughts on the matter on Twitter, claiming that he was all in for the players getting the kind of money they deserve, but Reddick’s approach just isn’t doing him any favors.
All for players wanting to get paid what they deserve. Just dont think Haason Reddick’s approach is helping him. Jets have a roster that can contend, and while he would help, they aren’t desperate. And what team is gonna be jumping at the chance to acquire him after this ordeal?

He believes that he could get a legitimate chance to compete with the New York Jets while still getting his due, and this thing isn’t really appealing to other teams that might be interested in trading for him.
Per multiple reports, Reddick and the Jets agreed that they would make him a suitable offer according to his performance, but he’s now refusing to hold his end of the deal.
He’s been a major distraction for weeks now, and while the Jets definitely need someone to replace Bryce Huff, they definitely don’t need this kind of disruptive presence in the locker room.
Reddick has been one of the most productive defensive players of the past five years or so, and the Jets reportedly want to pay him his market worth.
Then again, it’s hard to compromise or find any sort of middle ground in negotiations when one of the parties just isn’t willing to play ball.
